I’m at the point where I think the UN Security Council is a failed organization. If a member is violating international law, it should not have voting rights. I think the rest of the world needs to form a new organization if they can’t expel or sideline Russia from the UNSC.
Totally open to other ideas, but something must be done to hold Putin/Russia accountable for their atrocities and to ensure the rights of countries to exist without invasion.
@misterfive I am so with you there. My brain will literally think of any other thing I could do instead of paperwork. Generally only a deadline forced me to focus on it

Just thinking about how everybody--even the people you like and appreciate the most--can have a really sucky awful day
and it can affect their behavior.
So if you run into someone, IRL or here, and get behavior that is unpleasant or perplexing or in some other way alienating
Maybe give them the benefit of the doubt.
Step back, take a break, give space
But don't necessarily write them off.
There might be more to the story than you could ever guess.

New Rice Krispie treat recipe… used cocoa krispies, added 1/2 cup of peanut butter to the melted marshmallow, once smooth, mixed into the krispies, and then topped with some melted chocolate once pressed into the casserole dish. If your in a chocolate and peanut butter mood, it’s so good

Y’all, it’s been a hard week, spouse has a shoulder injury so long hours at work & I’m also handling school drop offs. I’m grumpy from lack of sleep but trying not to be. I skipped lunch which triggered a naughty dinner + sweets snacking tonight. At least I got my walk in with my pups today. Although it’s hard, the work Im doing is being recognized/ applauded, which usually motivate me to keep going. I may be over tired as sleep isn’t kicking in yet. I’ll stop whining now, thanks for listening

This is so me. I wasn’t diagnosed until my early 30s, ADD, not the hyperactivity version, which I think is why it took so long, hated homework and always waited until the last possible moment to finish it
Y’all, I made potato leek soup for the first time tonight, garnished with bacon crumbles and cheddar cheese. Super yummy and I’m a huge fan of leeks now 😊
