Doesn't matter that Biden was more coherent and likely more correct on facts overall tonight.
Facts don't matter in a nation that once elected DJT.
This debate was embarrassing for US in front of the other countries.
Optics matter.
Is it fair that Biden comes across to some as old, senile, etc?
Maybe. Maybe not.
Does the general public pay attention to how a candidate appears, sounds and generally comes across on television? Especially the 30% and growing amount of Americans that don't belong to one of the two major parties?

Progressive Democrat candidates have lost / are losing 8 out of 11 Colorado State Legislature races to their more moderate challengers.
This follows the governor and several other high-ranking CO Democrat officials publicly backing the opponents of sitting Legislators, such as Denver's Rep, Democratic Socialist Elisabeth Epps.
Epps sued the party for violating open meeting laws and other grievances last year. She also refused to come to the capital and worked remotely for the first 90+ days.
"A journalist who was shot [with a non-lethal round] by Minneapolis police while covering 2020 protests over the death of George Floyd is dying of her injuries.
"Freelance photojournalist Linda Tirado, 42, entered hospice care in Tennessee earlier this week, the National Press Club announced in a statement."
