There's irony in the US Congress pushing the ban on TikTok over concerns about Chinese spying days after passing an expansion of the not-so-secret state surveillance the US government is doing on it's own citizens.

Don't worry about that pesky 4th Amendment, the Feds will just buy your data from companies now forced by law to hand it over!
