it gets em to $12 for a no ads monthly plan...which is pretty commensurate with competitors like paramount+...and cheaper than NF/Max/Hulu no ads plans...think they realized they're just leaving money on the table for standalone prime video subs...and gives em a way to extract revenue from the "included with prime" subscribers...I'm surprised it took this long...
