Security guards tackling & assaulting striking hotel workers outside Fairmont Miramar in SoCal.
Does the hotel have the right to kick them off property? Yes.
But this way?
@Smersh Definitely not that way. In fact, in some places union/workplace picketing is a legally protected activity - as it should be.
What the hotel - and its security - is doing definitely isn't acceptable, and it's not a good idea either. Once a pattern of that kind of behaviour from employers emerges, pissed off workers become far less likely to use peaceful means (and more likely to use force) because they know the bourgeoisie is likely to respond with force no matter *what* means they use.
@Smersh If they use violence against people using words, eventually they risk that people will stop using words.
