🐦 🏮 on why the Dems deserve blame in the railroad contract dispute and not just the Reps. Democrats removed the only mechanism rail workers had to get sick days, knowing Reps wouldn't vote for it.
They sacrificed rail workers mental, physical and family well-being at the altar of profits and the economy.
It's important that we hold politicians responsible -- especially those "on your side" --instead of accepting their whataboutism regarding the opposition.

@TheresaVermont this is one of those few times the government actually has authority to impose a working contract. They could have gone all in with the other 4 unions' asks and actually been pro-labor. It practically writes itself!
