@kob I think it has a lot to do with Christian Fundamentalism. It fuels a lot of the misogyny here. And Europe kicked out their lunatic Christian fringe hundreds of years ago and they landed here to fester and grow.

@catlynne333 Okay I looked it up. Her program isn’t technically Medicaid even though it’s structured very much like it and also federally funded in part. We also use the two terms interchangeably which doesn’t help. I wonder if the plan is to no longer offer the federal funds for Medicaid because that is also state and federal funded.

@catlynne333 it’ll be interesting to see what the states say especially with Medicaid. My kid’s Medicaid program is state sponsored.
