Spending a few hours volunteering this morning. Not really enough people so the effort isn’t smooth as might be hoped.

One of the other volunteers is angry about this and is complaining loudly—to me, to other helpers, and to the poor beleaguered staff.

Two thoughts:

This is a good lesson on how complaining should be done with discernment—this gal is widening the hole in the boat.

And also sometimes folks need to be reminded to check themselves. Gently. For the greater good. 💙
