Ok analysts out there, can a narcissist be suicidal? Is that a thing? I would not imagine so.
They don't strike me as being able to go through with it; they wouldn't blame themselves for anything and there are too many people left to victimize. Seems like it would have to be something like the end of the reich. Anything to that?

I had a friend who was a narcissist and often threatened to but I don't know if they ever truly were or if it was used as a manipulation tactic.
I cut them out of my life for my own mental health.
