Related to a conversation on a different thread I remember when 16 was a baby and I decorated his room with superhero posters and imagery everywhere and my mom said, "Why are you trying to turn her into a boy?"
And I said, "I don't understand what you mean. I wanted this room as a kid."
Turns out that 16 is in fact a trans boy, but a femme boy, and he adores pink and Squishmallows.
Wears skirts and jeans.
I'm so sick of the binary values.

@Shelter my Dad just showed me the antique metal Wonder Woman sign he bought for his new man shed. He said he is decorating it with comic decor (he is big into comics). My Mom was all eye rolling. I thought geez don’t rain on his parade!

@Shelter I kept up with em til around 2010 and then life just started throwing stuff at me. Now I get em online for far less. I can't throw my money away on stuff that's going to mildew in my basement.

Also the Alex Ross Wonder Woman held a HUGE place of honor over the toddler bed and crib because his Wonder Woman was incredible.
