Insomnia.
Turned on My Adventures With Superman.
This is delightful.

@Shelter It's amazing how the wholesome shows can be so comforting when you're out of sorts and can't sleep.

Little moments of comfort become islands of calm.

@NiveusLepus

I've already laughed out loud several times.
It's adorable.

@Shelter It's really cute and quite heartwarming. I like how its at the start, when they're all interns. Jimmy doesn't even shoot photos well yet, which is a big deal because he's cracker jack in the comics. ^_^

@NiveusLepus

Yep.
I'm really liking this idea.
The animation style is great but I LOVE how the backgrounds for indoor locations throwback to the 90s DC animation specifically BTAS and Superman - TAS.

@Shelter The animation, though heavy with anime influences does remind me a lot of those cartoons from the 90s. They were big staples for me, but the writing is really stepping outside the box with how they resolve conflicts etc.

It's a fresh take with nostalgic elements and I'm here for it.

@NiveusLepus

That there are still kids delivering newspapers in this universe is fabulous.

@Shelter It's right up there with them having a dedicated, and professional press focused on delivering quality and informative stories.

Oh those halcyon days of yesteryear.

@Shelter and the Brain! We haven't seen much of him in the modern run of comics.

@Shelter Which itself is a tribute to the excellent work of composers past, like John Williams.

@NiveusLepus

Okay the ship being the Fortress of Solitude is brilliant.

@Shelter There's some fun other detail to, like for now, the ship and Superman don't speak the same language.
