The first year I was still harvesting tomatoes in November was 2011.
Over the past few years I've come to the conclusion that if I want to grow tomatoes without the plants getting fried I need to plant them in August when the sun has changed position. Next year I'll do that.
Everything is changing.
@Shelter I stuck in one tomato plant the first week of July and it’s actually thriving. Normally I have bad luck with tomatoes. I got started way late this year. Just bought a few clearance plants for the heck of it. I do remember talking with my daughter’s school van driver a few years ago, she commented that it feels like the seasons have shifted. I agreed.
I might pick up some clearance plants to pot on the front porch but I can't plant in the ground until next year due to resting the soil.
