Younger son- Wizard of Oz fiend, fiend, watching his DVD of The Daydreamer and reciting the end credits to me as I wrap up the house for bedtime- "Margaret Hamilton."
Me- "Margaret Hamilton was The Wicked Witch of The West."
Younger son- "Wicked- wait what???!!!"
I love doing this shit.

Also my younger son saw an old pic of Nic Cage and thought it was Danny Kaye and my friends were like- "Danny Kaye?"
"Yes, he's obsessed with Danny Kaye. Is there a problem?"
"Noooo, not at all."

@Shelter I just revisited a couple favorite Danny Kaye clips in preparation to torturing my g'kids ... I mean, I really think they would enjoy some of his movies 🙃

@Shelter Just trying to decide what to start with ... 🥰

@Shelter 11 & just about a week away from 14. If I start with the right clip I can hook 'em ...

@Shelter Lately, I've had to serialize such things & that seems to work well. But the older they get, the more impatient they are about giving old stuff a chance

@wolfwoman
Always go with color first and then B&W.
White Christmas would probably bore them to tears, though.

@wolfwoman

Because for young kids I'd go with The Court Jester.
