GOOD NEWS! is on TNT.

BAD NEWS! They'll probably cut to commercial during the Indianapolis speech again.

@Shelter I saw this on opening night at the Cinerama 150 a million years ago. My dear friend Toeya, yes that is her name, was sitting next to me; when the shark appeared she almost ripped my arm off. She has a weak ticker and I was afraid of her having a heart attack and me having to explain to her mom, Mami Dulce (her name) that her daughter had died in the movie.
Show me the way to go home
I'm tired and I wanna go to bed...
We are going to need a bigger boat...

My parents wouldn't let me see it because even though they dragged me to every Bond movie they thought this would give me nightmares.
So I learned everything available about sharks and then sneaked a viewing at a friend's house when I was 8.

@Shelter June 25, 1975 is when it came out. I was 18, soon to be 19. Way past my parents scope.

In any case, my parents never censured anything.

My parents were pretty mild on that so I've always suspected that Jaws was going to give *them* nightmares and I was a convenient excuse.

@Shelter You should have seen my mother the year Rocky Horror and The Full Monty were on the Tony Awards. Daughter and I almost died laughing at her horror.
