Well.
Here's my grandmom who would be 117 today.
She was an air raid warden and USO volunteer during the War, she could fix anything, and she was absolutely born in the wrong century to be truly fulfilled, although she was still an excellent mom and grandmom.
16 said, "She looks like a badass."
I said, "She was. You'd have loved her."
She died Christmas Day, 1990, at age 85. Her name was Edith.
I'm glad she was mine.
