I just introduced 16 to Orbison's duet with k.d. lang on Crying and 16 yelled, HOLY SHIT have you been keeping her from me? And I said, No, I play her very often when I need to relax. You don't pay attention.
@Shelter I was so happy. I recall the backlash too. I think there was a lot of mad people when she said she was vegan too. (If I’m remembering correctly) 🤔
Yes. Because she was from Cattle Country Alberta.

@Shelter That’s right. It was a thing in the PNW too. It’s farming community here. Just another reason to be pissed for some folks. I just kept happily buying her music and her posters. I know she probably got tired of the celebrity status. I’m so glad she represented for us though. And she got to do that beautiful layout of portraits with Crawford. *swoon
