I think the biggest surprise I’ve had merging back into social media is how religious a large part of our population has become. Not just church on Sunday because that’s how you were raised. I thought some were joking at first.

@DavidSalo I try to respect others without walking over their personal rights, in the same manner I hope they respect mine.

Sometimes it can be hard to keep my mouth shut if I think something is really off base, but the chances of me changing their minds online are slim. There is a much bigger chance I play into their hands to argue over something I won’t change my my on.
