I think more Americans need to go directly to the source to get their information.

Go directly to the White House and read what it has to say.

Also be aware of News Frames and the importance of them coupled with fact-checking.

@Museek How to get them to do this? Leave their comfortable ignorance bubble?

@gemswinc Great question..

I think media literacy workshops that promote fact checking tools in local communities and online.

Linking to those sources when we are online.. promoting those who do .. linking to specifics from CSPAN and other official comminications with summaries..

asking media outlets to do this..

those are some ways.. Remembering Media outlets work for shareholders..

@Museek The link didn't work for me, so sorry if I missed something there.

@gemswinc @Museek I go to the whitehouse *dot* gov site. Hit the briefing room or any article on the front page. Then choose All on the right side of links and go through the pages at your convenience!

@Museek @gemswinc Other sites that have a lot of information is the justice department site, FTC site, Attorney General office site too. I hit the Veterans Affairs website personally but it is more news than information.

@gemswinc @Museek If you have the time, I would suggest you subscribe to all the different House Committee channels on YouTube. They can be long but you can listen like a podcast and you will see how the Representatives act along with the newest release of information.

@SatuUnelmia Ha! Thank you, but I wouldn't have the stomach for that. I will keep it in mind though @Museek
