When people think I’m joking about being so white I glow in the dark, I’m not. I really am that pale. I hate it. I look sickly in a dress for a Black and White party. I don’t tan, I turn Lobster Red.
@Kittiekatt53 thank you, I can be a hot mess in tons of pictures too! This one just shows how pale I am using the color black. I grew up on the beach so during this period of time it has not been ideal! 😂😂😂
I'm that pale. Husband jokes (not really a joke) that he can see me in the dark. I can't tan. Burn and heal to white. Fuck it. I rock the hell out of it. No one should/should be made to feel ashamed or embarrassed about their natural skin color be it dark or light.
You don't look, at all, "sickly". You aren't blue from lack of oxygen or yellow from jaundice. Just normal. Maybe you're hearing other people's words echoing in your mind?

I've finally found a facial moisturizer that has a sunscreen that doesn't cause me to break out this year. No more fried face, although the sun damage of years can't be compensated for.
I've also taken to wearing a long sleeve SPF 50 shirt like an open jacket when I go out on high UV days.
@SatuUnelmia You're pretty. Isn't that alabaster skin. I read that it was considered an ideal skin type for women in the baroque period.
