I was tight-lacing in a dream, and part of the getting corseted process was banging on my hips. My lacers used their hands, but the effect was something like a rubber mallet when joining two pieces together and not wanting to mark them.
I woke up with hip aches. I also miss wearing corsets. When I have several hundred dollars to get on that actually fits my torso, watch out, world.
@Iresine Whew, that's above my pay grade for sure!! Most of mine are Orchard corsets, which are v. affordable, if basic. But that's what works for me, you know? One day, I'll save up enough for a custom one!
@SarahMAnderson1 They're certainly far out of my budget, too. My Dark Garden corset is now over 20 years old (eep!)

I just revisited the Dark Garden Corsetry web site. For a couple thousand they make custom medical corsets.....Oh, to dream.
