Herd immunity is reached only after almost everyone gets it, result being almost all those that would die from getting it, die.
It's not herd immunity it's playing survivor.

It's worse than survivor -- you might live but as we learn more, we see that so many body systems are damaged if it doesn't kill you -- and even if you never know you had it. (sub-30's people having sudden strokes?). Not exactly winning.
