I know too many people who have dealt with the initial & long term effects of Covid19. It didn't have to be this way.

The virus was politicized. Vaccines for all diseases were as well. In the 60's, I had to be vax'd for multiple communicable diseases just to go to school. Measles, mumps, smallpox, etc. These sicknesses were eradicated, for all intents and purposes.

But here we are in 2024.

We have to stop focusing on Trnmp. All Trnmp issues will resolve themselves.

We have to start focusing on the GQP itself. While the Republican party rots at the head, it's down ballot where the gold resides. I have more on this in the coming days. This is a bookmark for myself.

For at least two years, #GQP leadership - in thrall to, and led by Trump - has been unequivocally saying that cutting Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid is exactly what they're gonna do, given the opportunity. I'm not sure why this would be a surprise to the hoi polloi.

Take them at their word. Vote accordingly, and let everyone you know who might be impacted what's on their agenda.
