If you haven't watched The Last of Us on HBO, please, please treat yourself. The premise of the series is a wee bit hokey, but episode 3 with Nick Offerman and Murray Bartlett deserves all of the Emmys, SAG Awards & Golden Globes it can snare. I am rarely emotional about movie or TV stuff, but that was simply above and beyond outstanding. Highly recommended. (BTW, Ep 3 is almost stand-alone. You don't have to watch the rest of the series to understand or appreciate Ep 3.)

I was in a minor parking lot fender bender the other day. Not a whole lot of apparent damage. Scratched rear bumper, passenger side tail light cracked, and rear quarter panel pushed in just a bit. Got an estimate this morning: $5 - 7K. Talk about sticker shock. 😲

I have no idea what kind of bird this might be. Never seen one in central Florida. It's big and has bright red plumage on the top of its head.

2 weeks ago, I received notice to re-up my FL mail in ballot request. Went on my county Supervisor of Elections website & it took me no more than 2 minutes. If you know someone in FL who votes by mail - friend, neighbor or relative - please pass this info along and urge them to take care of this ASAP.
