Phishing alert: I registered for the @bluesky social media app wait list last month. Yesterday, I received an email purporting to be from BlueSky, asking me to answer a few Q's to speed up the process. The form asked for some PII, some optional, some not.

When I hovered over the submit button, the form was being sent to "email dot mmtrkr dot com". BlueSky's waitlist may have been hacked.

Beware of any form asking for PII. I'm pretty experienced with this kind of stuff, and almost got snared

Happy March! You may wish me 🎂 now. I celebrate all month. 🎉

It sucks that fascism is growing like a weed and all we can do is yell at it.

So here's the deal. I don't care if you're liberal, conservative, or off the spectrum on either side. If we're talking sports, as long as you STFU about political crap, we're good. The moment you start talking politics or religion, we're not.

When I found out @ cbouzy was the proprietor of Spoutible, I deleted my account. There's a reason I have him blocked on the bird - he's not a nice man. Take my advice for what you paid for it. YMMV.

Morning has broken. It's a new day. Make it a good one. ☕ 🤗 ⛳

Love and light to President Jimmy Carter as he peacefully transitions to what's next via hospice. He and I may differ in our beliefs as to "what's next", but whatever it is, this good man has earned the right to be there.

Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics (AI):

First Law
A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

Second Law
A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

Third Law
A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

AI Godmakers must keep these laws as the basis of their work.

Regardless of time zone, it's Saturday afternoon in the continental U.S. Therefore, I decree that it's not too early for a cocktail. 🍸 🍹 🍷 🍻

Ran into a situation at my local pharmacy today. An elderly lady in front of me at the cashier, 70-ish perhaps, purchased 3 gift cards, cash, $250 each, to a sporting goods chain which which doesn't even have a local store.

She then tried to put $500 in cash on a prepaid debit card. The manager was called to the front, and wouldn't let her. "Against store policy" was the manager's response. I really wanted to say something. This is a typical fraud on seniors. Maybe I should have spoken up?

MLB spring training starts today! Yay! ⚾ I'll be down in Clearwater, FL mid-March to catch a few games and watch the veterans & up-and-coming Phillies young guys.

Happy ❤️ day to all who celebrate this Hallmark holiday; to those who don't, share some kindness with someone anyway. 😘

I've become really weary of political theater in general. While my weariness has been developing for awhile, I think the balloon story robbed me of the final performance art fnck I had to give.
