Computer coder types - I have a question.

Is it possible that a code glitch or even a power surge(!?) could cause a computer to register me for a class at a school I haven't attended since last spring?

Or would human input error have to be involved? E.g. employee error, hacker, simple misentry of another person's student ID (BUT there arealso password issues then).

I need to have an idea of what scenarios caused this $500 plus bill I've been asked to pay at a school I'm not enrolled at. ☹️

@BlueStateBabe I'd suspect Unemployment fraud. Maybe someone is claiming to be you and asked for training funds. Or it's straight up fraud of someone trying to con you

@RoxieTech

Oh - I hadn't even considered that.

I think it could be easy to miss-enter a student ID #, but it has to be confirmed with my password, so I fear the office will claim it is impossible for somebody to have enrolled me.
