@jerzey I hadn't uninstalled the app. I sure did now. I needed closure and likening how I feel about it all with a song has helped greatly. The lyrics line up surprisingly well.
This (pic below) is also a feature worth checking out: (The toggle switch here in the column settings).
With it you can add multiple tags to a single column.
Very useful as some will use #writing , some #cosowriting , some #writingcommunity etc, and you probably want to see their posts too.
Importantly you can also filter out posts that contain hashtags you don't like along with one or more you do, using the "none of these" setting.
@SolCind Select your name (pretty much anywhere, it's always a link) and that will bring up a column on the right with an Edit Profile button. It's in there
@RichieNarvaez I just realized that next to pin/unpin are arrows to order my columns :D
@RichieNarvaez Let's take notifications for instance. For me, the upper right hand corner holds a drop down with unpin on the bottom of that. I select and the notifications column is gone.
I select notifications from that column on the far right and the drop down that appears with the notifications column has pin/unpin as options.
Search brings up a column, you can pin those searches too. I have one for #writing :)
Uhh...
He really says he took a publicly owned social media company private, taking full control of it, "with humility"
I'm a bit stupefied at the lack of self-awareness typing that out would require.
So far, #chicon has been more studious than celebratory. I was a little looking forward to celebratory though I **need** studious ;) I've been to some very inspirational panels. One today about getting to a debut really has my gears turning. Mostly about what I need to do vs what I've actually been doing :p
@Myana I will definitely sleep on it first though, especially as I've had a bit of 🍷With that in mind, perhaps I should load up focuswriter and plunk away...
@Myana Thank you for your recommendation. Unfortunately, I've slept on it for so long I didn't remember what I'd done and let me tell you, it's awful. It's so segmented that I break it back into these little stories that are supposed to come together via the MCs. It lacks a cohesiveness that the story builds towards. As we say in IT, sometimes you just need to nuke and pave.
@RTSlaywood None. Not a one. "Writing" here is slang for pipefitters. We're all secretly plumbers. Each entry is a metaphor for the days contracted work.
Either that or I have been seriously misled and I will never find another job. 😉
