UCLA protesters constructed this before the Battle of UCLA.
My initial reaction was WTF izzat supposed to be, (probably like most other people).
Then I realized those aren't PVC pipes.
Those are commercial grade fireworks mortars aimed horizontally. The mortar rounds are laying in front of the cinder block. And they did fire them last night.
And there isn't anybody from the Engineering Dept on the protesters side.

NYPD straight up did a "Now youse can't leave" on the Columbia protesters.
Protesters were understandably unamused and demanded to be let out of the building that they'd occupied.
But I'm guessing that none of the occupiers have seen A Bronx Tale.
