"It's just Netanyahu."

That's what they said about every single Israeli leader, including the ones who have signed peace treaties (like Netanyahu has).

=

"I don't hate Jews, just Zionists."

15.7 million Jews in the world, 15 million are Zionists. You hate Jews.

=

"Apartheid!"

Only exists in the Palestinian controlled territories, where Jews are not allowed to live or purchase property.

@Render they hate Jews. They love to sugar coated with excuses to display their hate but the truth is they hate Jews.

@Dbot This is a wild guess, but I think they don't *think* they hate Jews. I also think they don't *really* know what Zionism is when they say they hate that.
I don't believe the majority of folk who say such things would consider themselves hateful *at all*.
In other words, I think it's as much an education issue as anything else.

That does not make it right, or loving, or kind to use such rhetoric, but it perhaps explains how good people get sucked in by bad information. 😥
@Render

@stueytheround @Render I disagree. There is people very well educated that should know better.
Perhaps they jump on the hate wagon because is an opportunity to display their dislike.
I hope you are right but... honestly...
I don't think u are

@Dbot I'm thinking particularly of "Zionism".
A quick google throws up several definitions from Jewish Nationalism, with the goal of the creation and maintenance of a Jewish homeland in Israel, to an African Christian sect.
Some include the idea that Jews are a race and some do not.

I reckon most folk who say they are anti-zionism don't have the first clue what it even means. Which come to think about it, essentially means they hate what they don't understand. Are we surprised? 😥

@stueytheround @Dbot

"Zionism" is hardwired into the entire Hebrew religion.

I'll borrow the below from a Rabbi on Quora...

"The saying “Next year in Jerusalem” concludes both the Passover Seder and Yom Kippur.

Our liturgy is saturated with prayers for the Return to Zion, the Ingathering of the Exiles, and the restoration of Jewish sovereign independence in the Land of Israel. That’s the single most persistent theme in Jewish liturgy."
