The late night political campaigns are very disturbing. The current Oregon governor is being challenged by RW candidates. Some come across as angry, belligerent about their guns and masks. Others come across as whiney and demeaning, saying hurtful things about transgendered people. They don't even try to be tactful. They blame the current governor, and claim Oregon has become dangerous and perverse under her governance.
I've lived in the PNW over 30 years. There has been no sudden change.

I am shocked every time I hear their "vote for me because..." arguments. But you are right - these appear to be primarily rural living candidates, or at least oriented to rural living. And their anger against so many civil rights issues have me baffled. Do they really think the loss of rights will only apply to others?
