"Thoughts and Prayers" is not a solution. It is an empty platitude offered by people that want to make it look like they care about the devastation but don't want to really do anything about it. How many more shootings must we suffer thru before our 'leaders' do something about it. People are losing their lives whilst those in control wring their hands like they are helpless.
@Ravennacht thoughts and prayers is literally the same as offering air and air. As in "here is an empty can of air for your troubles, dear sir."
