@cmskiera Well, I stand by my childhood Janophilia.
π @RationalLeft
Jan had more exposed flaws like a real person, so she was very relatable.
@Agatha @RationalLeft I had to look up the Brady characters, and the website is called "OverSixty". I suddenly feel less old.
@ToruOkada @Agatha Well, I'm barely over 50 and I grew up on them...
Same, but they were definitely in reruns. π I was only 2 when the show ended.
@Agatha @RationalLeft @ToruOkada
We in #GenX really had it made with TV growing up. Three networks, a couple of local indie stations, and a broadcast schedule filled with classic old shows and movies.
@Agatha @RationalLeft @ToruOkada
I mean, for Pete's sake. Shows like "The World At War", "I, Claudius", and Monty Python were shown on local stations.
@LiberalLibrarian @Agatha @ToruOkada I first saw I, Claudius on PBS when I was probably too young to watch it.
Which didn't stop me from getting very into it.
@Agatha @LiberalLibrarian @ToruOkada I did see some very odd TV when I was home sick as a kid.
Those early "reality shows" like "Divorce Court" were really cheesy.
@Agatha @ToruOkada Well, yes, it was in reruns when I watched it.
You may have been the only one, @RationalLeft π
