Wow. Some pretty dire numbers here for #Trump. Per Politico's poll, his "weaponization" narrative is a flat failure beyond the R base. A strong majority see DOJ as fair, and a majority know that TFG himself tried to use the DOJ against political opponents.
The numbers with independents are particularly striking, but also note that third or so of Rs who are not happy with the worship of a criminal.

P.S. All the usual caveats about polls apply. But this is a very mainstream pollster sampling for a right-leaning outlet, and the margins are big enough to be persuasive (unlike most horserace polls).
