And amidst the Prigozhin news, a periodic reminder that Rudy has in fact completely lost his mind - whether from mental illness or alcoholism or some combination thereof.
@stealthbadger And of course his subsequent claim of "I didn't mean it, I just said that for legal purposes" did not endear him to the judge - who, not surprisingly, didn't hold that "I said I did it but I actually didn't" statement to excuse him from all liability - as he apparently thought it would.
@RationalLeft Rudy should have known he was screwed when everyone around him started taking notes.
@stealthbadger He's so far gone I think he really believed he would be seen as heroically fighting for a coup almost everyone would back.
@RationalLeft Rudy still thinks his freedom of speach is his defence ,but it’s not what he or they said it’s what they did! BUT they know it they’re just play acting for their cult followers to donate more !
@RationalLeft: Nah. He didn't lose his mind, not at all. He's just a pathetic old bigot who's lived long enough to see himself become the villain.
@thedisasterautist It's true enough that Black voters in NY argue he was always like this and that his acting just got less effective.
@RationalLeft: They are 100% correct.
@RationalLeft that is merely a Republican move, say one thing when the cameras are on you that are contradicted by facts that go unreported by the right wing media echo chamber.
@RationalLeft I heard that and his counterargument, that only he agreed to that stipulation for legal purposes, when only a person who had lost touch with reality would do such a thing.
Then again, this is Rudy we're talking about.
