Hi Mom !

A tradition in my family. My mom hated "Mother's Day", for all the commercialization. So... she started a family ritual. She proclaimed that the Ocean was our real mother, and thus we would all get in the car and drive to the beach, or get on a boat or on a ferry. Whatever, and spend "Mother's Day" celebrating.

When she passed we did the same, spreading her ashes, into the Puget Sound that she loved so much.
