This was the first freaking tweet I attempted to post today! Something's definitely buggy.

@Productive On a great night I can only see maybe 30 stars so, I'm going to say 3, maybe 4.

Another translation today:

Saying "Work smarter" when they actually mean "read my mind and anticipate what my complaints about your work will be."

Another way to describe it would be to recreate the giants and their shoulders from scratch instead of just standing from them.

Funny how the bossy guy who complained in writing about your lack of communication on what's happening with your team completely neglected to mention your cry for help about being demotivated and burned out, as well as absolutely doing nothing about it.

Another immediate boss prioritizes recreating training courses that has the company's own "brand" to the point of recreating or "replicating" already existing and easily accessible learning materials.

I can compare this to spoon-feeding with a company trademarked spoon instead of teaching them how to fish, to mix metaphors.

This is especially since he wants me to come up with SPECIFIC examples of teamwork as shown by different team members which are UNIQUE. So he believes teamwork cannot be demonstrated in a uniform way by one team.

I guess maybe he's such a stranger to the concept, not having worked well with a team, he wouldn't know teamwork if it bit him in the face.

Some members of my department demonstrated the epitome of teamwork having each other's back on shift a lot of the time so I want to give them high ratings under Teamwork in the performance evaluation, but my power tripping boss sent the evaluations back for having the SAME writeup for the SAME justification of teamwork, saying the critical incidents have to be INDIVIDUAL, which goes against the definition of teamwork.

I have a smartwatch that tracks steps. I agreed to set a goal of 10,000 steps.
I work from home. I also have a standing desk and I pace when I think.
There is something a bit concerning when I hit 10,000 steps before I reach the end of a work day.

My old person trait is I copy stuff like this and post it.

Goodnight all. Tonight I'm remembering something James Baldwin wrote, “I imagine one of the reasons people cling to their hates so stubbornly is because they sense, once hate is gone, they will be forced to deal with pain.” The Lord bless you and keep you!

Lockwood & Co. on Netflix was tweaked from being steampunk to modern (I guess to keep down costs of CG, sets and props), but otherwise the rendition was servicable and eased viewers slowly into the world. Already one friend in social media who liked it was introduced to the books.
