I can’t disagree with this opinion strongly enough. The professor makes the assumption that when a state invariably replaces electors w/partisans who lost their state’s popular vote, that the SCOTUS will rule that maneuver unconstitutional.
If they follow through & side w/the Independent Legislature defendants, they’re declaring they will affirm whatever GOP state legislatures’ electors have been sent.
