Kate Quinn has several offerings of historical fiction combined with romance and intrigue. JD Barker's 3mk series has lots of twists, intrigue, and action, but be prepared to commit to the whole trilogy (which has all been published). I just finished David Gordon's latest entry with Joe the Bouncer. That has action and plot twists and that entire series is just a lot of fun. Jeff Wheeler's Knight's Ransom series is my fav medieval-ish series. That's all been published, too. #books
