@singlemaltgirl Yup. Anything northeast is gonna get it. I'll have to check in with my brother in Washington State later. So far it's calm here but they keep warning that the winds are going hit today. I'm thankful this house came with a generator.

@singlemaltgirl Ugh. What part of the world are you in? We're supposed to get 8-12" from now through Saturday. We'll have a high of 14 on Sunday and a low of 6. Wind chill will put us under 0. Black ice is deadly. In my case, just about any ice is deadly.

Good morning, "Nauts. It's a balmy 13 degrees right now here in Saginaw. I am home and will most likely stay home until Tuesday. Still waiting for that blizzard to hit. We got about 4" of snow overnight. I had wifey take my Kia to work. Thankfully she only works a mile down the road. How are things in your part of the world?

This storm that hasn't arrived yet, has now canceled Christmas with my wife's family. They are 45 minutes away and her mom didn't want anyone to travel there. Understandable but still sucks. Also, her mom will spend Christmas alone which also sucks. And my wife has to work Christmas night. Thankfully she works a mile or less from home. I just don't want her to get stuck there.

@twelve_thirty4 Ugh, yeah. So you know what I'm talking about. I overheard people talking today that our company hardly ever shuts down for weather. All those people who are driving to work tomorrow...I just can't imagine it. We're getting weather warnings here. No job is worth the risk to me.

I'm taking Friday off. I admit it, I'm a wimp when it comes to harsh snow conditions. It's going to take the last of my vacation time (I blew all my vaca time on Covid illness this year). But my leads get to stay home and work from there and get paid. 😠
