Good morning, "Nauts. It's a balmy 13 degrees right now here in Saginaw. I am home and will most likely stay home until Tuesday. Still waiting for that blizzard to hit. We got about 4" of snow overnight. I had wifey take my Kia to work. Thankfully she only works a mile down the road. How are things in your part of the world?
@singlemaltgirl Ugh. What part of the world are you in? We're supposed to get 8-12" from now through Saturday. We'll have a high of 14 on Sunday and a low of 6. Wind chill will put us under 0. Black ice is deadly. In my case, just about any ice is deadly.
@Pepstar west coast. we don't usually get this cold. or this much snow. it's unusual.
i just left edmonton where this is par for the course. i thought i was going to get a warmer winter. wtaf?!?!?

@singlemaltgirl Yup. Anything northeast is gonna get it. I'll have to check in with my brother in Washington State later. So far it's calm here but they keep warning that the winds are going hit today. I'm thankful this house came with a generator.
@Pepstar - I actually had to turn on the heat here in Florida (hour from Tampa). I know, I shouldn't even say what the temperature here is. I'm just miffed that at one point they said it would go down to freezing and it never got lower than 63°. It was colder than that earlier in the week. For people that have lived here for a long time, they're looking for winter coats they never use. I grew up mid-atlantic, so this is only sweatshirt weather for me (clearly I'VE been here too long).

@Pepstar it's fucking cold & it's been snowing all night. looks like we'll get another foot. i'm staying home for the next 4 days. we're supposed to get freezing rain on xmas day which will make everything black ice. fuckity fuck fuck.
