Back in the 80's, I was hoping that by the time we reached the 2000's, we'd have more of a Star Trek type society complete with food replicators...and boy was I disappointed.

I'm not a religious person but I like the architecture of many churches. This one is the Chapel of The Holy Cross that sits up amongst the red rocks of Sedona.

@FernLovebond I'm in an LGBTQ+ marriage and we don't have those roles. Neither of us like to be referred to as Lesbian. We both have our gender identity but neither is top dog. I don't think you can pin relationships that narrowly now.

@TXPamInOH I'm really just not a holiday person. I don't like the marketing aspect. I prefer to get gifts for people on the spur of the moment when I see something that I think they would like. I'll be fine. I just need to get passed it. It could be the season too. Winter is not my vibe, lol. Thanks for listening 💜

@TXPamInOH It used to be such a huge deal to send Christmas cards. But these days, I'm not in touch with most of my family and I don't have many close friends so the list has shrunk. My heart isn't in it. I'm trying but I can't get out of this mental funk. I think we might try to put up the tree.

I've managed to wrap a few gifts and mail out 6 Christmas cards so far. Still no decorations or tree up. 😥
