So a weird thing happened today. I was sitting in a hotel lobby, doing work with my colleagues, and I noticed the front desk guy giving a tour to a few white guys in flannel shirts. “Here’s the elevator..” I thought, this is weird. Apparently, in the secret service world it’s like a preemptive sweep or something. But they were all wearing flannel shirts and boots.
Anyhoo, flannel shirts came in a line, and there was a bald white guy in a suit with a black hat in the middle. 1/2
2/2 I have no idea who that was, but whenever I see a bunch of white guys in flannel shirts and boots, I get nervous.
It wasn’t the Governor or any Senators. They even had flashing lights in their SUV.
It was weird and obviously a private security company.
@misslovelymess how odd maybe there are VIP of some kind actor or maybe musician trying to stay low profile?
@PaganMother It was very odd. My coworker plugged her computer in to let it charge in an outlet a few feet away from where we were sitting, and one of them came and sat next to it. Later, I watched them out my window and the guy was drinking coffee and his flannel warriors were standing watch.
Went to lunch and there was a “Kidzbop” bus in the parking lot and my coworker said, maybe it’s them.
I said, why would the Kidzbop guy need security?
It was bizarre.
