With the position of the emperor in the recent past, this card speaks of the lack of stability, missing of a paternal figure and the lack of protection. You're coming out of this state and period of your life. This was a time of personal growth. A time of retrospect. And self-exploration. You're taking what you've learned from that period of time and moving forward. Those lessons that you learned from the paternal in your life are critical to be remembered./1
With the position of judgment in reverse, you're denying yourself forgiveness and allowing fear regret and guilt to consume you. It's time to let go of the se guilts and regrets for you to be able to move forward and take a good hold of your life in control. Don't let yourself drown in those sorrows. Celebrate the life lived the life that should helped shape you. This would be a good time to reach out to your loved ones to speak to them about the regrets and find healing in yourself./2
For my personal view on this, The cards are suggesting retrospect on where the guilt and the regrets came from but also working on yourself to move forward past that. Connecting with your family found or blood seems to be what they're trying to say will help you do so. Just because you're not born into that family doesn't mean you don't matter.
With the position of the hermit, this is detailing that you have a need for support from your friends and your loved ones, what is coming is something you do not want to face alone and you're going to need every bit of support that you can muster to move through what's coming your way. Take time to remember your own boundaries and your own limits, but this may be a time for you to consider reaching out. /3
