I have a bit of a story to go with this share. I had been shopping around for an amulet that I felt comfortable wearing 24/7 and could easily tuck under my shirt collar if I were in unsafe spaces. I ran across a shop, I think it was called the dark carnival, and they had this listed as a norse helm of awe and norse compass charm. Stainless steel, about five years old now and I added the moonstone honoring an old friend of mine that passed away last year. Rest in peace, Ogre, you are missed.
@PaganMother beautiful, love the compass. I wear a replica Mjölnir all the time. One question I have. why would you need to hide these when in 'unsafe spaces'? Would you be judged?
@Booga Yes unfortunately, I live in a heavily christianized area and any symbols that are associated with paganism receive a good bit of disparagement and unnecessary hate. Had a coworker a while back try to tell me "going to church will cure ya of depression ECT.." and I whipped out my amulet to get her to knock off the religious bullshit, ended up leaving that job after she pushed me into a complete nervous breakdown with her stupidity. (2016-still not employed since.)
