I ended up sharing with my therapist about my actions this week in writing to Gov. Gretchen, and her response letter. He's hugely supportive of keeping a watch and speaking out to protect LGBTQ+ in our state, and a truly active voice in the state legislature as well. I guess it's safe to say that politics do in fact effect the mental health and well being of those targeted in those bills.
