So one of my friends brought up something during a call yesterday and I've been chawing at the bit over it. He was asking if I'd like to take photography a step further as a piece of art for me to focus on, he suggested that my eye for light and shadow as well as the right angels could be a good thing to practice and improve on, and I have to admit yall, I'm seriously considering the suggestion. Maybe I could focus on that during the winter? It gets too cold for me to draw here midwinter.
@PaganMother My grandfather was completely colorblind. Everything was light and shadow for him. So he taught me black and white photography. Even with color, that light and shadow matters. Too many photographers just don't quite get that. If you're good with it, I bet you could do great work. If you enjoy it, go for it!
@weirdfizz I might take a look in the local online courses to see if there's something that can help guide me into photography. I really do love taking a good photo or two, but all I got right now is my pixel 6, while it takes great shots, it doesn't have many tools for photo editing I'm afraid. I'll talk to my friend further on this, he mentioned possibly helping me get a tripod and a few other tools to improve the shots I take.
