What’s the difference between role playing and acting/voice acting?

@Digimane Coming from someone that does tons of roleplaying in specific games and group sessions - there's a few differences. Depending on what format your using to roleplay on (text, voice chats, video chats.) you don't go as far into acting out the role as an actor or voice actor would. There's some voice actors that dig right in and enjoy roleplaying the characters they are voicing to add some depth of emotion in the voice work.
@Digimane Admittedly, that's a fantastic question to ask about both sides of that coin though.
