@LaurelGreen O.O!! I haven't done that form of art in ages! Not since I was 12 years old! I ever get a clean clear space to work in again (And I might, if I get hubs to work with me cleaning out the shed.) I may start delving into that again! Oh my that's some hearty good memories involved with encaustic work, that's for sure.
@LaurelGreen It really is, it's something that modern painting and artwork really can't mimic the production of.
@PaganMother I tried lots of setups, best I found was 2 cheap electric griddles, aluminum sheeting across both as a sub substrate support. Recycled cat food cans for paint containers.
And yes, theres a thing, connecting us back to our earliest human art. You’ll feel it, no doubt.
