@Perplexed It's a hugely contested issue - given how embedded Christianity is to this nations governing structure, he has a lot of influence being pushed from all sides, even with the LGBTQ+ issues. But that's something that you'd have to ask Biden himself, no one else can answer that question logically speaking.
@Perplexed But I am also non-Christian, part of a growing minority in the US as well. My faith protects the rights and voices of fembodied selves and holds us accountable and equal to male bodied selves, and upholding to that is difficult given how the laws are currently structured on the federal level.
@Perplexed Pardon for the multipart response, I needed a moment to digest your question and really think on it.
@Perplexed However, if the governing structure of the US actually cut out any influences of the religious left/right/centrists from lobbying in offices of our representatives, congress and senate, we might actually see a serious change in tone of how abortion rights might be viewed. But that's wishful thinking on my part as someone who lacks a voice in the governing system in every way. I'm AFAB, my experiences, my voice doesn't count as much as a CIS males voice does in this day and age.
