@MidnightRider yeah, like, how many friends will I have left when I retire? That sounds lonely.

@thedisasterautist do you find online/distance relationships easier?

@MidnightRider I'm not sure if I find that sad or bittersweet. But it's the truth.

Is adulthood when you start to struggle to maintain friendships?

What I hate the most about cold rainy days is that the climate change deniers come out from their holes.

Netflix, Airbnb, Uber, Twitter and Reddit imploding.

Capitalism turns everything into a self-eating serpent.

I know for sure that my neighbors spent almost 800,000eur for their little apartment and they got the ugliest brown curtains ever.

Not enough money left for buying decent curtains I guess.

I'm so fed up with Blackrock owning everything.

If I wanted to quit using stuff they own, I'd have to move to the Mexican jungle and buy everything extremely local.

But I would also have to look at the roads around and the jungle I'd live in, because they also own those too.

@Kittiekatt53 honestly I didn't know I could do that! I think I might start looking into that!

I taught women how to bike in Mexico for 10 years, I live in Amsterdam, I bike every day everywhere, I have a bike tattoo on my ankle.

And I haven't been able to fix a flat bike tire by myself.

It just takes a huge mental effort!

@thedisasterautist yes! Exactly! I've noticed the same, that for a normal hetero man-woman relationship to exist, people will want to police it.

It happens often that I get introduced to a couple. Then I find the man way more interesting than the woman, and I feel that we could be friends in the most platonic no hetero way, but I put some distance because I'm sure the woman would hate it and I don't want trouble.

My partner understands it and he knows that gender roles are made up and he has a lot of women platonic friends.

I wish it was easy for me too.

Lately I've been witnessing a lot of the aftermath of religious abuse.

People feeling guilty for liking art, or modern music.

People afraid of going out because Satan is there.

It's really sad to see.

@VenessaG that's super cool! Does he get worked up easily?

Oh, I'm in such a bad mood, I had a terrible morning. What could it be?

*Checks the menstruation app*

Yep, there it is.

On this, I can say that I was there when we were protesting against the police, as four of them raped a girl.

Next to the protest, the Mexican government decided that it was a good idea to put a police car to separate traffic and the protesters.

But we were protesting the police, with a police car next to us!

There came a girl out of nowhere with a bat and they complete destroyed the car, and they wrote stuff all over it.

Fond memories.

I used to be sad that my family didn't participate in any historical event and because of their catholicism they stood aside.

But now I can feel proud for participating in the feminist riots in Mexico and protesting for woman's right to choose.

I got a coworker that speaks out quite openly and gets fired up when he thinks something is wrong.

Another coworker asked him about his family history and it all made sense, my fired up colleague's family participated in the Dutch resistance against the nazis.
