That's kind of how I fold them, but you left out the part where there's a balled up wet shirt in one corner and random socks in the others.

Even if it's a full load of bed linens, those extra deep corners collect stuff. I've started giving them a go in the dryer by themselves, which doesn't take long to dry, then doing everything else together.
@EileenKCarpenter @catmomdo I wash sheets with sheets. I go through the dryer when it gets to the "cool down" stage and make sure nothing is stuck in the pockets. If so I adjust the time so everything gets fully dry.
